I visited the salon for a blow dry last Saturday with Rachel. I have curly hair and described how I would like it done. She listened and did exactly what I asked. She is a lovely girl and did a very professional job, I won’t hesitate to return .

So happy with my new hair! I managed to get a very last minute, same day appointment for a balayage and cut. Aimee did an absolutely incredible job - I’ve tried many places all over Belfast and this is now my go to. So glad I found it, thank you so much Aimee! 😍❤️

I love the ability to book online. Also when getting foils there are usually two people doing them so it speeds up the process.

I look forward to my hair appointments in Jacqui Bothwells! From you walk in the door the atmosphere is warm, friendly and professional! Coffee is great too! I go to Alex, who is a miracle worker with my hair. She listens to what I want. I am always 100% happy skipping out that door. I also love my beachwave appointments with the students, think it's a great idea, it allows them practice and again they can have my hair sitting better than I ever could! Couldn't recommend the salon enough!!!
Could not recommend JB Hair highly enough. Always a warm welcome, fantastic team and great result every time. Dawn is a fantastic hairdresser, really listens to your needs and makes sure you have a fantastic result every time (other members of the team are fab too). Makes going to the hairdresser more like a catch up with friends!

Was in Bangor for a family wedding. Had wash and blow dry by Samantha. She did a brilliant job. Not only did my hair style stay all day it was still good the next day. Would highly recommend. Everyone in the salon was very friendly

Every time I visit Jacqui Bothwell hair. I leave the salon, feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and delighted with my hair. I have had a range of treatments and I can honestly say that Jacqui and her team provide a first class service and I would recommend anyone without hesitation. Top salon, fab friendly team.

I just love going to get my hair done in Jacqui Bothwell hair as soon as you step through the door the welcome you get is amazing you feel like family. All the girls in there are so talented whatever you want them to do they always deliver they listen to you and always give the best advice that would suit you. Whenever you stepped out you feel like a million dollars. I would never go anywhere else so if you feel like you need someone to listen and advice you in your hair Jacqui Bothwell hair is the place to go xx
I had a first meeting there to talk about my desire. I speak poor English, it was not easy to understand the person speaking quickly. He had to call me back to give me the price, they never called me back.
Avoid this place if you want a decent job done...I've had the appointment today at 10:45 wasn't under the name Lala. The girl who coloured my hair was brilliant the colour is nice. However the girl who "washed"my hair done a mockery out of it. After she "washed" and we went at the chair to dry it out I've noticed that I've had a lump of hair colour left on my locks. I've pointed that to her . She brought a wet towel and rubbed my face . I haven't made a big deal of it... mistakes happen. When I arrive home I noticed that I still had hair colour on my forehead hair line and on my scalp. I had to wash my hair. I never posted a bad review before but going at the hair salon for a hair colour and having it washed properly is very basic. I am not looking for a refund, free haircut or anything else. I just want to leave an honest opinion of a hair salon where my hair wasn't washed out completely.
Well what can I say! Alex has worked wonders on my hair. Desperate for a new look and she has transformed me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Only walked into the salon this morning and was greeted by a lovely girl on the desk (who also washed my hair later on) and I was offered an appointment this afternoon. I cannot recommend this salon enough - fabulous! Lovely relaxed vibe!

Really lovely people at this salon. My daughter has severe anxiety and hadn't had her hair cut for over two years. Sammy was brilliant with her, the cut was lovely - we will definitely be back. Would recommend.
Every time I get my hair done at Jb hair it is an experience you will never forget. Your are welcomed from the minute you open the door and you leave feeling fabulous, with a beautiful hair that is done to perfection with expert stylists, who take the time to listen to what you want and deliver every single time. Special mention to Tina my stylist who is outstanding but the whole team are such lovely girls who are also very attentive to cater to your every need .

Honestly the best salon with a great atmosphere. Jacqui and her staff go well out of their way for you, they offer advice if you’re not too sure about colours etc. Jacqui has the friendliest staff, so welcoming. I would highly recommend this salon.

Would not recommend this place for colour at all. Went for an appointment with a senior stylist who specialised in colour, I had always done my own hair so I wanted someone experienced, and asked for a light bubblegum pink, which I’ve always done myself easily so I thought it would be easy enough to do. I explicitly said I did not want to be bright neon pink and she seemed to understand. She gave me a dusty pink/purple which was nothing like the reference I showed her. This stylist did not listen to me at all and completely did her own thing. When I spoke up about how it wasn’t what I wanted she ‘fixed’ it by putting bright pink dye over the top of it, which again I explicitly said at the start I didn’t want. It was all different shades of neon pink and underneath was way darker than the top, it was horrendous I was so upset I had to pay and get out of there. I immediately took head and shoulders to it to fade out the colour because I could not be seen like that and it turned into a mauve colour so it was just a cover up and did not fix the problem at all. When I messaged them about it they offered to rectify it but I really didn’t want them touching my hair again nor did I want them ruining my progress as I had got a lot of the colour out myself. When I asked for a partial refund instead they read my message and did not get back to me, which I found completely unprofessional. £120 down the drain.
Highly recommended. Professional staffs. Really really satisfied with my hair color.

Been going here with my now 11 yr old daughter for 4-5 years now and couldn't be a nicer hairdressers to go to. The place is always busy but all the staff are always really friendly and welcoming. So great to see the place buzzing again after lock down. I would highly recommend this hairdressers.

Just had my first experience with Emily, it was a last minute booking. From the moment I walked in the atmosphere was lovely, very friendly staff nothing seemed a problem. I can’t thank Emily enough for my hair, I felt a million dollars! Will definitely be returning.
